Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak was not one of those books which I would usually have picked up myself if not for the book club read, but now i'am so glad it was picked and that i had the chance to read it.
Each and every word is a quotation, worthy of sharing to the world.
This is a book with a story within a story and Each chapter is told from the view point of one of its many characters.
~ Ella Rubinstein is a married woman with 3 children, a peaceful life, but something is missing in her life and her relationship with her husband. She takes a job as a reader and her first assignment is to read and review a novel by an author called, Aziz Z. Zahara.
~ the story of the book 'Sweet Blasphemy' Ella Reads is about the Sufi Rumi, whose life changed completely when he meets the dervish Shams of Tabriz and his forty rules of love.
Rumi and Shams become great companions, almost inseparable, and this upsets those close to Rumi.
~ Ella decides to find out more about the author and her life will never be the same again after that.

I enjoyed reading this book ♥ it was really amazing.
